ABC's

Today when Lauren and I were getting ready to run a couple errands over lunch (yes, I am still working from home three days a week and LOVING it!), she handed me the letter 'D' from her fridge Leapfrog magnets and said 'Daddy.' Ok, let me explain....Grant has been trying to teach her what the letters look like and words that start with that specific letter, ie. 'D' is for 'Daddy'. So, then I proceeded to ask her what letter it was and she said 'D'. I then pointed to the 'L' and asked what letter that was and she said 'Lauren'. 'M' was 'Mommy'. She is getting there. She doesn't know all the letters yet visually, but is doing well associating them with words. What a mind! It is literally a little sponge!

She is just growing and changing so much right before our eyes!

Now, I know it's been over 6 months since my last post, so a larger, more detailed post is in the works, but I wanted to share this little conversation with you before I forgot it. It was just so adorable...to me at least!
Lauren at the waterpark in Minot...she had a blast!!

They played while Mommy shopped, a perfect arrangement!
